The Orphan Empowerment Society(TOES) an NGO working to end orphan poverty in Africa by equipping orphans with free vocational-skills, medical care & food has launched a project tagged "Covkit" project to help in fighting back covid-19.
Each CovKit contains a Hand Sanitizer, Thermometer, Facemasks, Cotton wool, Iodine, Bandages, Antiseptic solution, Gloves, Fever reducer & pain medications, Sanitizing wipes and Penicillin ointment.
Each Covkit is housed in a clean, durable, plastic box to keep the contents safe and aseptic.
According to a press Release from the organization, The pilot phase of the program has been launched and CovKits are been donated to orphanages across Abuja, Enugu, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Lagos.
Also, Caregivers are being trained to use each item in the kit by qualified medical professionals.
