JUST IN: INEC Observers Declares Rt.Hon Jarigbe Agom winner of PDP Primary

 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)observers sent by the commision to monitor the People’s Democratic Party’s(PDP) senatorial primary election held on saturday, 5th September 2020 declaring Rt.Hon Jarigbe Winner with 381 votes.






The report which was signed by Mr Modibbo Bello a senior staff of INEC stated that, the process was interrupted with violence at the early stages and disagreements on list of Delegates to use, while a faction led by the PDP electoral panel Chairman, Chief Talib insisted on using a list different from the “Authentic delegate list” as forwarded by the party to INEC following an order by a Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, two members of the panel stood their grounds and conducted the election in compliance with the PDP guidelines and the court judgement.

With the Report, Rt.Hon Jarigbe Agom stands elected as the PDP flag bearer ahead of the Cross River Northern Senatorial District Bye-election scheduled to hold on 31st October 2020.
