The founder of "The Akpanke Foundation",  Mr Peter Akpanke, said, his foundation was founded based on his covenant with God from his university days.

Akpanke stated this on Monday at his Foundation Office in Abuja when he had a brief chat with the press and a group of Concerned youths who paid him a courtesy visit.

Akpanke stated that giving back to humanity was the only reason he had set up the foundation which has been in existence since 2015.

While responding to questions from the group, Akpanke highlighted some activities of the foundation which include, scholarship schemes, catering for widows and physically challenged persons amongst others.

He further stated that part of his vision is to see the emergence of atleast one youth per home in Cross River state that will be gainfully employed to cater for the needs of his/her family in order to eradicate poverty and youth Restiveness from our society.

"My dream is to see a society where youths are gainfully employed and widows and other less privileged persons are taken care of and given equal opportunities" he said.

The group comprised of Comr Emaluji Michael sunday, Francis Offiono, Phylo Modlin, Franklin Ezemoke and Daniel Riwo.
